CAE/CAD/CAM systems manufacturer Intergraph is expanding its engineering workstation products line to nineteen models by adding ten more 32-bit Fairchild Clipper-based UNIX workstations, and two powerful data-servers and has announced the launch of a major new marketing strategy — the first of its kind for the company — by making them available to the VAR (value added reseller) market. Intergraph will also seek third-party software agreements through a new ‘Partnership Software Programme’ to complement its own existing 400 packages-strong applications software library.
