THE production of light aeroplanes is a new departure for the Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke of Warnemunde, who are well known for their seaplanes and catapult-launching aircraft. The firm's new two-seater light aeroplane was specially designed to meet the requirements for this year's Europa Rundflug, and it was considered one of the most promising of the German entries.
