Airline engineers have commented favourably on the condition of the 535E4 engine after it had completed the 150-hour declared type test for engine certification. All the testing required for certification of the 535E4 has now been completed and award of the engine's airworthiness certificate is expected ahead of schedule. The certification programme has covered over 400 aspects of engine testing.
