THE worst fears of the British aerospace industry were confirmed on February 3 when Mr Harold Wilson made his promised speech dealing with military aircraft procurement. Pausing only to blast the cost-effectiveness of the Conservatives' general defence policy during the last twelve years, the Prime Minister was soon in full throat reviewing current projects.
