MUCH has been heard in the technical and lay press of the great strides being made in America in the development of the small commercial aeroplane, having three to six seats; and it is a notable fact that, whilst we in England have attained a supreme position in the two-seater light 'plane class, we have hitherto rather neglected the medium-sized commercial machine of low power.
