Abstract The purpose of tins communication is to describe how Penthranization1 was used in the systematic dcsensitization of the fear of flying in an airplane. A treatment program, initiated in the office was then carried out at the airport, before and after a chartered flight. With this experience, the patients were able to resume flying on commercial airplanes.
