Abstract The gamma-ray burst source distribution over the sky and the dependence of burst occurrence frequency on fluence S and maximum count rate n in the burst time profile are considered basing on the Konus information and additional localization data. The isotropic source distribution and the good fit of the data to the N ( n ) ∝ n −3 2 law imply that the sources are distributed uniformly in the region of space limited by the existing burst detector sensitivity.
