Abstract The gamma-ray burst source distribution over the sky and the dependence of burst occurrence frequency on fluence S and maximum count rate n in the burst time profile are considered basing on the Konus information and additional localization data. The isotropic source distribution and the good fit of the data to the law imply that the sources are distributed uniformly in the region of space limited by the existing burst detector sensitivity.
