Abstract All close approaches of 75 earth-crossing (Aten-Apollo) asteroids within 0.2 AU of the Earth during the 20th and 21st century have been determined by accurate numerical integration of the orbits. Their distribution in time is shown graphically and for some interesting Atens the evolution of the distance from the earth is presented. Encounters far away from the nodes are listed as well as node crossings occuring during 1900 – 2100. A list of the 17 closest approaches to within 0.02 AU is given. Short-term and secular variations of the orbits are described and some special cases are displayed.
