AbstractThe conception of dynamic stability of melt crystal growth has been developed. The method based on the Lyapunov stability theory has been used to the study stability of crystallization by capillary shaping techniques including Czokhralsky, Stepanov, Kiropoulos, Verneuil and floating zone methods. Preliminary results of the stability analysis of crystallization by floating zone technique under microgravity conditions are presented here.
