Abstract The data from the COREX instrument are discussed with respect to non-reciprocities in resonance cones for opposing wave propagation directions. The shift of the maxima has a different symmetry from the case of field aligned drifts. Using a generalized drift model the magnitude and direction of the drift is evaluated. Velocities of the order of up to 38 km/s are found. The drift direction is nearly perpendicular to the magnetic field.
