Abstract To solve incompact problem of modular avionics system, an improved blueprint architecture was proposed. Firstly, blueprint models were established with generalized stochastic Petri nets (GSPN), and then these modelsʼ optimal time parameters were ascertained with linear programming (LP), which provided a new method for blueprint research. The results of simulation confirm the blueprint modelsʼ validity, and show that using the blueprint can guarantee the whole avionics systemʼs reliability above 95 percent.
