AbstractSatellite observations of visible and near-infrared reflectances and brightness temperatures at 37 GHz frequency are studied to quantify spatial and temporal variations of land-surface vegetation. These satellite data are further correlated with the temporal variations of the atmospheric CO2 concentration and the terrestrial primary productivity.
