The preseantion gives an overview about the current achievements of aeronautical research having reached a high level of maturity. Looking at the global developments in aviation like air transport saturation in Europe and USA and growing aircraft manufacturers in the BRICS countries a paradigm shift from quantitative to qualitative growth is derived showing some potential for future added values
