Pneumatic system was developed by Plessey-UK to operate and control nozzles of VTOL aircraft employing ducted fan gas turbine engine with four nozzle configuration; Plessey system was also chosen by Bristol Siddeley Engines Ltd, to operate nozzles of Pegasus engine in Dornier Do-31 aircraft, first V/STOL transport to employ vectored thrust.
