Use of radio telemetry in variety of industrial applications, e.g. to read internal vibration and strain in rotating equipment, chain drives, vehicles, and projectiles, and for measurement of vibration, acceleration, strain, temperature, pressure, magnetic fields, electric current and voltage under adverse conditions; conveyor-chain telemetry system at automobile plant: in marine application, telemetry system measures torque and horsepower on ship drive shaft; when radio cannot be used to transmit strain information, telemeter may be employed; radio telemetry in earthmoving equipment.
