Machine developed by American Brake Shoe and Foundry Co, installed at its Sargent Research Laboratory, Mahwah, N J, uses rotating type of loading and is equipped with 7 rings of various weights to give 26 combinations of wheel loads from 4000 to 40,000 lb and can be operated up to 150 mph.
