All-relay type of interlocking, installed at Delson, Quebec, by Canadian Pacific, to replace mechanical interlocking, uses power switch machines and signals controlled from non-interlocked miniature levers of centralized traffic-control type, mounted in small cabinet on operator's desk in station, thereby eliminating manually controlled mechanical plant.
