Experiments at William Froude Laboratory are first part of research on propulsion of twin screw vessels, forming part of program of research approved by Advisory Tank Committee; research deals specifically with propulsion of vessels of liner type; results are applicable, in some degree, to fairly wide range of twin screw vessels.
