New signaling systems developed for British Railways on occasion of conversion of existing electrified lines from direct to 50 cps a-c traction, together with installation of new a-c traction systems; new systems are immune to interference from traction currents in a-c systems, and also, in some instances, to interference from d-c traction systems at same time.
