Tanks applicable to missiles and space vehicles were oscillated to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes of contained liquids; results indicate that dimensionless parameters, developed from ratio of experimentally determined natural frequencies to expressions suggested by physics of problem, may be used to predict natural frequencies of liquids in spheroids of size and geometry.
