Results for series of 12 methodically varied 3-bladed propellers designed to cover pitch ratios from about 1.0 to 2.0 and blade area ratios from 0.5 to 1.0; parent propeller was designed for given conditions, and was modified twice to eliminate face cavitation at working condition; all models were of 10-in. diam, and were tested in Vosper Cavitation Tunnel at 9 cavitation numbers over range of slip.
