Study made to determine equipment requirements for lunar surface exploration envisages 4 rocket vehicles to transport 12 men and their equipment; 3 will be round trip passenger carries, fourth nonreturn cargo configuration to deposit 15 tons of supplies; possible configuration of 2 moonmobiles to be used for 500-mi overland journey from landing site in Mare Imbrium to Crater Aristarchus; chemical propulsion was selected as most likely power supply; proposed space suit configuration.
