Paper presents analytical solutions of problem of optimum maneuvering of glide vehicle flying in hypervelocity regime; investigation is based on approximation of H.J.Allen and A.J.Eggers; problem consists of finding optimal control law for lift such that final velocity or final altitude is maximized; problem can be viewed as bringing vehicle to best condition for interception, penetration, or making evasive maneuver; switching sequences for different cases are discussed, and it is shown that there are at most two switchings.
