Missile uses: acquisition radar to continuously survey area surrounding defended area for hostile aircraft targets, and two other systems independent of each other to furnish precision tracking data to computer; one of these sysetms tracks target aircraft from time it is detected until it is destroyed; other tracks missile just prior to launching until it intercepts target; in radar van operators bring three coordinates (range, azimuth and elevation) into coincidence with data from radar; system maintenance.
