Norwegian salvage tug-icebreaker Herkules of 799 gross tons (length oa 53.8 m), built by A/S Mjellem and Karlsen for Norsk Bjergningskompagni A/S; four Deutz tubrocharged two-stroke engines, each develop 875 bhp at 650 rpm and each drive through Vulcan-Sinclair hydraulic clutch coupling, pulley wheel carrying 24 vee-belts which supply drive to propeller shaft, driving Kamewa variable pitch propeller; engine room plans.
