Current practice of designing constant speed drive to meet requirements of each weapon system is explained and Air Force constant speed drive requirements are outlined in regard to capacity, output speed regulation, load division, protective devices, oil system, zero "G" conditions, efficiency, and weight; areas are indicated where requirements will change to meet future demands.
