Radiant honeycomb brazing, called Nortobraze process, developed by Northrop Corp's Norair Div for manufacture of stainless steel honeycomb panels for advanced aircraft and missiles; process reduces brazing time from 3 to 12 hr down to range of 5 to 15 min; details of method, essence of which lies in banks of radiant quartz lamps capable of temperatures up to 6000 F; temperature control.
