First multi-cylinder marine engine of new P range has been completed by Wm.Doxford and Sons and submitted to 1000 hr continuous running test after prior testing with different turbocharger arrangements; it has 6-cyl of 670 mm bore with 720 mm stroke for upper piston and 1380 mm stroke for lower piston, is rated at 10,000 bhp at 120 rpm for continuous sea service; diagrams; tables show particulars of range, which includes 3-cyl unit while largest will be engine of 850 mm bore.
