Novel features in amphibian monoplane with all-metal hull; Wasp engine with three-bladed pusher propeller mounted above wing; cabin for 6 or 8 passengers; compartment suitable for sleeping bunks for crew; wing span 51 ft.; combination of sponsons, or stub lower wings for lateral stability in water, with disappearing landing gear; sponsons horizontal when in water but on land slope downward forming equivalent of streamlined axle.
