Experimental all-metal airship with egg-shell type hull driven by steam-operated blower in nose; length 212 ft.; diameter 58 ft.; cover corrugated longitudinally; seven unusual steam turbines; natural gas, or ordinary commercial gas, and refined crude oil are used as fuel; new propulsion principle of air displacement; ship can hold position under its own power; elevator system; as ship increases speed there is only slight skin friction.
