Recently erected by Michigan-California Lumber Co. at Camino, Calif.; single tram carrier carries rail car loaded with maximum of 24,000 lb. of sawed lumber; distance between terminals is approximately 2700 ft.; maximum speed of operation will be 1800 ft. per min.; four steel cables, each 2 in. in diam. support tram carrier which runs on 32 wheels; traction rope endless and one inch in diameter.
