System of heating using regenerated energy along with that wasted in acceleration succeeds in Balckhall car; same contractors used for acceleration and braking; scheme has been incorporated in motor control of new light-weight worm-drive car of Chicago and Joliet Electric Railway; estimated saving through dynamic heating and braking may be taken at $400 per car per year.
