Describes cars which are of English railway type for first, second and third-class passengers; 12 ft. wide, 68 ft. long, gage 5 ft. 6 in., weight 69 tons; cars fitted for electric traction and control; cars complete hauled to dock from works, loaded on barges, taken to Hull and reloaded on steamships for India; 160 of these vehicles, including motor and trailer cars completed at Nottingham Works; they were despatched to India completely assembled.
