Reference to book published in 1925 by RAGG, dealing with ships' bottom paints, and to his later researches published in 1928, in which he stated six qualities which anti-corrosive pigment must possess, but admitted that no satisfactory pigment was available; improvement introduced in 1927 by FRENKEL with patented "Faktor" varnish; by pre-oxidization of oil and factorization, paint film was made to be quicksetting; it has been tested by German authorities with complete satisfaction.
