Road and rail bridge consists of spandrel braced arch, 260 ft. long, with approach span arch 100 ft. long; 20-ft. roadway is suspended below arch and there are two footways; completely erected on its own gearings in P. and W. Mac Lellan yard at Glasgow, afterwards dismantled and shipped to Uganda in sections.
