10,000-ton vessel, converted for missile testing, has hull of " Victory" type merchant ship; she now has large, square superstructure superimposed on which is tangle of radar masts and aerials; guided weapon equipment consists of radars, displays and communications equipment to enable target to be selected and to control missiles in flight; missiles come from their magazines on rails and are rolled through flash-tight doors between decks to launching site.
