Naval harbor service craft are under construction at Royal Dock shipyard of J.S.Doig, Ltd, of Grimsby; while tenders are able to make voyages in unprotected waters, they are chiefly intended for port auxiliary services and can carry up to 3000 ft or 25 tons weight of stores, or 200 standing passengers of whom 50 would be under cover; two 21-in. torpedoes, 22 ft 8 in. oa and weighing 1.75 tons each, can be carried on chocks; length oa 79 ft 3 in., molded breadth at main deck 18 ft, molded depth 8 ft 3 in., light freeboard 3 ft 9 in.; 4-cyl Lister-Blackstone engine is rated 225 bhp at 775 rpm; plan.
