New fleet provides considerably improved ship and cargo handling facilities at port; tugs Mansura, Munira, Masauda, and Mahrusa are sister ships designed by Dunson, and were built at Thorne shipyard; with oa length of 74 ft, molded dimensions of each tug are 68 ft 6 in. by 20 ft 6 in. by 9 ft 6 in., and maximum draft is 9 ft 6 in.; propulsive power is supplied by 8-cyl Crossley type HRN8.30 diesel engine having continuous rating of 600 bhp at 300 rpm; 10 knots free running speed, ahead static bollard pull of 8 tons, and unusually high astern pull of 6 tons were obtained during trials; 6 barges from same yard are 73 ft 9 in. by 21 ft by 6 ft, and designed to carry 150 tons of cargo on 5-ft draft.
