Design features of hump marshaling yard under construction in Toronto, Ont, with 300 mi of track and 50 bridges; construction was started in spring of 1961; yard is more than 4 mi in length and will classify freight rolling-stock by gravity method, pushing them over artificial humps situated some 25 ft above level of sorting sidings.
