Behavior of soil subjected to loads applied by compactor is analyzed by using "Mohr" representation for expression of stresses and intrinsic straight lines for properties of soil; author shows how it is possible, by means of graphs, to analyze influence of variations of load per wheel and of air pressure in tires on density obtained at different depths.
