Sergeant is 10,000-lb ballistic, guided missile consisting of warhead, guidance section, storable rocket motor, and 4 interchangeable control surface assemblies; checkout and countdown are automatic, and all-inertial guidance system is immune to electronic countermeasures; ground-handling requirements are accomplished with 5 large wheeled vehicles -- launching station including gas-turbine generator set (GTGS) providing power to missile and to erector/launcher; organizational maintenance test station (OMTS), field maintenance test station (FMTS), missile transport, carrying guidance section, rocket motor and control surfaces, and warhead transporter; electronic maintenance concept; firing of missile.
