Demonstration of deck takeoff and landing operations on first of Royal Navy's fleet carriers fitted with both angled deck and mirror landing aid; Sea Hawk F.B. Mark 3 naval jet fighters were catapulted off deck, whereas Douglas Skyraiders used whole length of angled deck; for search, rescue and communications duties, HMS Albion also carries two Westland Dragonfly helicopters; steam engines are fitted with Admiralty three-drum boilers, which also supply steam heating and auxiliary turbine drive.
