If rocket fails to follow previously computed trajectory in space, it will become necessary to correct its erroneous orbit by small thrusts from motors; it is proved that, if instant at which correction is to be made has been chosen, appropriate velocity increment to be given to rocket is uniquely determined; scheme for assisting navigator by calculating numerical tables prior to rocket's departure.
