Report on model study of proposed tidal harbor at Port Talbot, South Wales, to accommodate ore carriers of up to 65,000 tons dw; main lines of study considered proposed design to determine residual wave-heights for all storm waves, movements of model ships at berths for similar storm waves, effects of very long waves which (if they exist) can cause ranging of berthed ships, records and forecasts based upon observations of sea and weather.
