Paper presents new method of performing capacitance measurement which offers solution to many limitations and advantages for accurate, reliable measurements in rocket environments; method of using digital capacitance to balance bridge electronically is applied and general concept illustrated in block diagram; system properties and circuits; example of applications to dielectric and conducting fluids; example of 9 bit level system designed for measurement of residual propellants in fuel and oxygen tanks of Saturn S-1 Booster.
