Details of recovery of satellite, lost for 8 mo, illustrate application of long-range orbit determination and prediction scheme; validity of orbit parameters determined for Iota 4 search is substantiated through comparison with post-recovery orbital elements; improvement program incorporating methods for effectively using small numbers of optical observations is described.
