Summary of results obtained of pilot study, carried out by members of Derby subbranch of Brit Interplanetary Soc; scope of study was to assemble information already available on requirements for man to exist on Mars, and to consider some of points in more speculative way, assuming that by time of first expedition technical progress would have made feasible solutions which currently are just possibilities.
