Review of future requirements for ground testing outlining areas where significant progress in testing technology is needed; requirements fall into 2 categories -- hardware necessary to provide environmental simulation, and instrumentation techniques and equipment necessary to give highly accurate and precise measurements of test conditions and vehicle performance; both are discussed using present requirements as basis for forecasting future needs.
