Effect is investigated for Hohmann type transfers; closed form solution of trajectory during thrusting is obtained by assuming that constant thrust is applied normal to focal radius and that change of radial position of rocket is small; example shows thrusting time, thrust level, propellant consumption, and conic trajectories following powered flight paths, etc, in comparison with ordinary impulsive thrust case; calculations of lead angle and time are introduced based on analysis presented.
