Orbital proof tests of 2 reactor auxiliary power units, Snap 10A and Snap 2, are scheduled for 1964 and 1966; their orbital operation will be observed for at least 90 days, while they perform as functional elements of fully integrated vehicle systems; safety and reliability aspects, radiological safety precautions and procedures, and other measures to be taken before launchings; reactor startup will be accomplished on fourth orbit by ground command; control and monitoring, during period from startup command through attainment of full power; radiation testing for program.
